FROM THE FARM
Grown in the nutrient-rich, alkaline black soils of Wai in Maharashtra.
Commercial machine milling generates high heat, which destroys the delicate essential oils and curcumin in turmeric. We partner directly with farmers in Maharashtra who traditionally shade-dry and stone-grind the roots. This heat-free process retains maximum flavor, deep golden color, and natural aroma.

Your Questions Answered
We believe in retaining the natural oils and goodness of the spice. After harvesting, our turmeric is boiled, shade-dried and then stone-ground at low temperatures. This traditional method protects its natural volatile oils and curcumin from heat damage.
